Our Story

Founded in 2025, OSEAS was born from a simple observation: connecting Shippers with reliable Truck Carriers should not be complicated or unnecessarily expensive.
Across Australia’s freight industry, Shippers often face challenges finding dependable transport services at competitive prices. At the same time, Truck Carriers face rising operating costs, expensive technologies, and platform fees that place additional financial pressure on their businesses. These challenges can ultimately contribute to higher freight costs and fewer opportunities for both parties.
We believed there had to be a better way.
Driven by a shared vision and a commitment to innovation, OSEAS was established to create a simple, transparent, and accessible online freight marketplace that brings Shippers and Truck Carriers together.

Is Oseas free to use?

Registration on OSEAS is free for both Shippers and Carriers.
Applicable fees are charged when using the platform’s freight booking and transaction services, as outlined in the relevant Terms and Conditions. These fees help support the operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the platform.

How does OSEAS verify carriers?

OSEAS reviews Carrier business registration details, relevant licensing information, and required insurance documentation, including Public Liability and Goods in Transit insurance, as part of the registration and approval process.
Our verification process helps promote transparency and confidence, allowing Shippers to make informed decisions when selecting a Carrier.

What if something goes wrong with my shipment?

If an issue arises during transportation, we encourage Shippers and Carriers to communicate directly to resolve it. OSEAS may provide assistance with disputes in accordance with its Terms and Conditions.

Where payments are processed through the platform, Carrier funds are released only after the required payment and delivery conditions have been met, including verification of Proof of Delivery (POD) and resolution of any applicable payment holds.

How quickly can I get a quote?

Once you post your shipment requirements on OSEAS, registered Carriers can review your request and submit competitive quotations. Response times may vary depending on Carrier availability, shipment details, and transport routes. You can review and compare quotations as they become available.

Do carriers get paid immediately?

OSEAS aims to initiate payment transfers promptly once the Shipper’s freight payment has been received, funds are available in Stripe, and Proof of Delivery (POD) has been verified by OSEAS, subject to all applicable payment conditions.
The time taken for funds to reach the Carrier’s nominated bank account depends on Stripe’s processing and banking timelines.
